My friend bought an Iphone from Maxis ..Now he wants to sell it to me..My question is.
1. Since the phone is under his name can it be transfered to me ?
2. Can he terminate the contract? Will it cost him anything?
3. Is is possible to jail break the phone?
4. Some people have been telling me that when ever there is an update you have to go back to maxis to do so.Is this true?
I hope somebody could enlightened me with some answers.

He wants to sell to me his Iphone 3g 8gb.So if I want to buy it he will have to terminate the contract.Can you use like a normal Sim card for the phone?

You of course can use any SIM card on the iPhone so long as it is valid. Any other sim that is valid meaning? Im using a normal nokia 5300 now so can I use that sim card for the iphone? |

So I buy an iphone from my friend jail break it..than I can use my sim card and jst pay maxis for the call charges every month right? I can turn off 3g/gprs/edge too right?

What sort of sim card can you insert for an Iphone..Shoud there a special one or just normal sim card from normal phones will work on the iphone too?
