Let say, all i have backup.. then i update to latest firmware.. how can i do manually restore each of them? without using itunes..

i upgrade fw 2.2 to fw 3.1 .. already backup the addressbook b4.. then i transfer it manually through ssh.. when i open contacts menu, got no all contacts that i backup.. need help..

also backup manually using ssh.. i just copy addressbook folder from library directory ( if not mistaken )..
