I've faced this prob in both my iPod touch and iPhone 3G cable as well but I don't really think this is covered under the apple care bcoz it's more like normal wear and tear so it's unlikely covered by the warranty. Anyway, the cable is still usable rite even it's torn so don't really bother about it. I don't think you can find original USB cable outside but you can buy those 3rd party cable outside, prob costs around Rm20 only.

You can use iTunes to create ringtone rite, but the disadvantage is that it can create 15 secs ringtone only.

http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...16&sec=business iPhone/iPod touch as remote to helicopter? If it's connected via Wi-Fi, then won't it just suddenly dropped when it's out of the Wi-Fi zone?

Txting while walking is really a pain in the ass when it comes to iPhone. Other than that, iphone is really very useful.
