I got my iPhone 3G S changed from the official service provider, Maxis to Celcom. After updating to 3.1.3, I didn't see the tethering option at first.

Then I went to the Network settings to change the APN for the 3G connection and noticed that there's an "Internet Tether" section at the bottom. Put in the 3G settings in the blanks then the option to turn Internet Tether on/off was available in the main Network page. Tested it out on bluetooth and USB and both working fine!

Anyone else tried it out?

yups. the setting somehow only enable when u can do tethering.. for eg. if let say ur maxis line got barred, the internet tethering option will disappear.
or if u put other sim card from other telco, the additional setting option will be there and once u set it up, then only the internet tethering option will be available.

I just bought an iPhone 3G and now I can't make calls but I can receive them. It's been like this for a few days already and I find it very troublesome.

yesterday i went to maju junction where there is mobile sales in front of the building...there are a lot of iphone which they claimed it is set from sigpore..but the price is not making any sense..betweeen 1.3k-800 for 3GS...n for ur information the iphone look very2 like the Real iphone..

my question is how can i determine whether the iphone is original or not.? im afraid a lot of people will be conned by them as they claim it is original 3GS from singapore..

Got a problem here, so i downloaded a battery theme for iphone 3gs. when i unplug it out from charging or USB, there will be no battery showing up when i try to unlock it. But when i'm charging it or connect it via USB, the battery shows up.

once u remove from the plug, then it show your wallpaper.

well you purchase in itunes..or you can use iRinger to cut the song you prefer and then export to you itunes automactically...

I'm using jailbroken 3Gs. The problem is recently it
lags when I use safari and will even hang . I dun even download the jailbroken apps . Should I restore it back or is there anyone who knows what the problem is ?

mine is JB iphone 3gs... so lagging in what sense? if ure talking about long loading probably its due to the network....
