I went back to re-read the JTR Captivator thread @ AVS but don't see any mention of the film anymore  What attracted me first was someone said the gunshots were better than on Open Range (which is one of the key movies to demo gun shots). Then I asked fugueness and he said: "The gunshots in TGTBTW are not as over-mic'd as Open Range, but there is an extended scene involving horses, motorcycles, guns, artillery that is currently my favorite demo. It was the favorite at Rob's meet as well." Rob is the owner of the Captivators.

District 9 Blu-ray to Feature God of War III Demo

PlayStation 3 slim Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in conjunction with Sony Computer Entertainment America have announced that the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'District 9', which is scheduled to be released on December 29th, will feature a demo of the upcoming PS3-exclusive game 'God of War III'. After completing the demo, which is only playable on a PS3, users will be able to unlock an exclusive 'God of War III' making-of featurette.

This marks the first time a movie and game demo have been paired on a Blu-ray in the US, and exploits the exclusive Blu-ray function of the PS3.

Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, commented, "We are thrilled to give consumers not only an incredible high definition presentation of District 9 and the wealth of bonus material about the movie, but also a taste of what is destined to be the biggest video game of 2010. This pairing of the movie and game demo is just another example of what is possible with the Blu-ray format."
