No big deal about ROTF lah, as with all current Hollywood blockbusters, just mindless fun.  Acting?  Directing?  Story?  Logic?  Go find all these elsewhere.

Just think of it as junk food lo, its has no nutritional value, will probably dumb you down, and has artificial flavourings and ajinomoto by the tons.  Still sells like hot cakes, right?

also, speedy is selling the US version (aka Amazon version) of TF2 at RM159.90, R1 DVD at RM69.90 and R3 DVD with bumblebee inside for RM149.90

Oh ya, I saw this one the other day at $PEEDO but izit true? Because they sticked a sticker claiming it's a Region A US version or something like dat (never saw this kind of sticker before) hmm.gif Moreover, there's no white sticker on top of the casing cast further doubt. Maybe they bought huge bulk (with no casing maybe?), brought in and repackage here and jack-up price and sell.... well, it is still US Region A... hah!! biggrin.gif

I just received 2 parcels of BDs one is from Amazon UK and another is Amazon US. rclxm9.gif

My order for B1F1 offer at Amazon Uk finally arrived. This parcel together with another parel actually reached Kuching at 21/10/2009 yet the uncle Postman just send it to me today. vmad.gif

Amazon UK parcel is fine the problem is the replacement copy of "The Sensual Massage Kit: Massage for Men and Women Instructional Video -- 2 disc set [Blu-ray]" sent from Amazon US is still 1 disc only like first copy I received earlier.

I just wrote a letter to Amazon US request for refund and return these 2 copies of BDs since actual number of disc is different from title and product detail. Link for this product is here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O2LQW...x_ya_oh_product

I have ask Amazon to refund me, if possible, in the form of gift vouchers.

Do you think Amazon will agree to refund me in this case? icon_question.gif

Just received replied from Amazon US:

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that your replacement shipment had the same problem. Because you've received a defective item twice, we'd like to look into this issue further and won't be able to send another replacement.

I have requested a refund for the item, including associated shipping costs. This refund should go through within the next few days and will appear as a credit of $30.48 on your next credit card billing statement.

As the cost of return shipping is prohibitively expensive in this case, there is no need to return the faulty item.

You can view the status of a refund or return through the Order Summary in Your Account (http://www.amazon.com/your-account). Completed refunds will appear at the bottom of an individual order's summary page.

Again, please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

We value your business and hope that you will continue to consider Amazon.com for your online shopping needs.

Amazon is really kind. But I don't refund to credit card I want gift certificate. cry.gif

Ya lar, I kena last time. The refunded amount eventually was lesser than the amount I paid on my credit card statement meaning I've paid (even a bit) but for nothing. In your case not so bad, you still have the goodies that u don't want... biggrin.gif

It seem like Amazon can't long accept the request to refund in the form of Gift Card anymore. doh.gif

Hello,

I do understand you want us to refund your account in the form of a Gift Card. Please allow me to explain this for you.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to change your refund in the form of a Gift Card. We're required to process all refunds to the original payment method used for the order.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you again soon.
