this chart is old, but applicable. there is no rock band lego there, but the latest rock band game there is rb2. so what applies to rb2 will also apply to rock band lego. so to your question above, d answer is can.

so gh3 and world tour are the only rb and gh game that could be played with wii remote ?

i not sure about gh3. but for sure gh world tour can't play with wii remote (*)

* except free style, but that's not really playing.

in the gh world tour menu got a section called freestyle where u just play errr freestyle (is there a better word then that). there is no scoring. at the end of the session u can save or play back. to make a long story short, don't get gh/rb if u not getting at least 1 of the instruments. trust me on that.

the game is nice on DS.
no need instrument for DSi.
