Anyway my point about snip off the stinger of a scorpion is,for those who is afraid of being stung by a scorpion mean u r not ready for 1.It is just like buy a pet without 1 of its body part.Just make urself ready for it so no nid to harm the organism.

everyone, dont clip off ur scorpion's stinger ya..... no matter they can still survive or not, just dont do it.....

Hmm actually me, rideon and if not mistaken lester also have afs with clipped stinger
I know mine and rideon's one are already in our freezer right now, not sure bout lester one thou
It's a disgust to see a pet shop offering to clip off the scorpion stinger

My AFS are getting fatter by the day.

i too have a scorpion that have the telson cut but not sure intentionally or naturally coz i found him in the wild.

it died after 2 month i care for it. but the scorp really in bad shape by that time. broken pectines and pectinals,really thin, broken telson.

a really mangled piece of scorpion but the most sporting. never show threat display. pinch only once in a while.

i miss that scorp.

Yea i had one AFS that has its stinger cut off. It died already. Gave me her broods though but sadly died.. n shes in my freezer now temporary untill i can find those chemicals that can preserve her.
If u afraid that u might get stung y ur scorpion then dont handle them i know the urge to handle them but if u are afraid there is no harm in just leave them in their tank rather then cutting their stinger off just for u to handle them.

MY GUESS IS SPINIFER

as seen in the video, the padipalps are very large, a common characteristic of the spinifers which is easily distinguishable from longimanus.

and also the video title already says h.spinifer grooming.
