I think it's the feeder size...
My afs scorpling last time all i keep individually but most molted in 1month time...
I feed mine with killed prey larger than themself
Mostly mealworm but occasionally cirx
They get fat fast and molt fast too

Basically, the warmer, the higher metabolism, the faster they grow but don't overdo it

I din use false bottom setup but i heard better use big gravel (Or was it small?) and put a layer of mesh wired on top of the gravel before putting substrate, that will prevent the the substrate mixing with the level below it

2nd instar? Hmm... Total of 13 made it to 2instar but if ur actually saying 3instar then so far one only, the rest are still in pre molt
