I guess this is a question no one has ever asked here.
I just want to ask can the iphone 3gs work without inserting the sim card in it?
I'm a digi user and i bought the iphone without the contract. Is it fine to use it without having to insert the sim card in because i need the sim card for another mobile.
Will it damage the phone?

Thanks sad.gif

you don't need a blinking ne thread for a trivial matter like this

thread reported

and yes, it will still work as prescribed. just make sure it is activated first.

It should be fine.

There is no reason for the phone to malfunction without a sim card.

Just that you need WiFi coverage if you wanna surf with it.

@kellyeung13,
Using the iPhone without a sim card is really like using it with a sim card on airplane mode. Typically, U get all the functions of an iPod Touch but really, what's the point as another forummer has pointed.

Then again, it's your money.

Am closing this thread since question been attended to.
