Hello guys... I am using a wireless optical mouse (A4tech G7 630) and it requires one AA battery to function.
However the battery I'm using right now (normal sony AA battery, 4 for RM4.50) only lasted for about 2 weeks +

I use my mouse around 4 hours everyday. Whenever I'm watching movie in my laptop i off the mouse.

Is there any good and long lasting NON rechargeable AA batteries which can last longer... Maybe 2~3 months?
Price is not a matter but of course I would hope it to be cheap (not more than rm10 for 4 batteries?)

Please recommend me some brands and models =)

use branded mouse like logitech

i have use it..double alkaline AA battery can last for 1 year

i dont think battery will make different but try enegizer

A4 tech is quite good wad...
the double alkaline AA battery which lasted for 1 year is energizer?

no...my wireless mouse is build to last for 1 year with double AA using any brand of battery

but for wireless mouse i use energizer e2 battery..
use daily for >14hours can last 1 month

I doubt 2AA battery will last 1 year for any mouse (not only Logitech).
If you can get something like 6 mths is consider very good already.
TS , I'm using G7630 as well and 1 energizer alkaline can last between 1.5-2mths. I use the mouse more than 8hrs a day and only turn off at night.

well, my logitech v450 mouse did. use it for nearly a year already. (well i off it occasionally though). But still that is quite respectable. i'm using 2 AA duracell battery. I can approx batt life to about 8 months ++

I use a logitech wireless with energizer rech batts
lasts quite a long way.. lol

Sochaiapk, which type of energizer batteries are u using? Energizer e2 or MAX?

I can't find e2 here in the kedai runcit... only can find MAX...

And i'm not changing to logitech =X cuz i already have this A4tech mouse~

I'm using Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 110, put 2x energizer in the mouse and normally last 2-3 months. Really hope the mouse comes with a on/off swtich because even computer is off the mouse is still running, thus draining power unneccessarily...

I reallly don't know how truthful those who say their battery last more than 2 months. You can use the most high tech battery and still for something like a mouse, it drains energy like crazy even in power saver mode. I have used A4 Tech, Microsoft, even Logitech wireless ones and the average lifespan on batteries on the mouse is 1-2 months. The lifespan of battery for the keyboard does exceed 10 months to a year though. Even the DELL notebook bluetooth mouse doesn't fare more than a month.

Nowdays i use A4 tech that have a rechargable docking station that is wired to the PC so i don't have to worry about replacing the batteries. RM 145 in combo keyboard & mouse package.

Unfortunately, i do not think having the claimed longest lasting battery would contribute in extending the mouse battery life expectancy. Cables are still the best.

I use the Cheap tesco batteries on my Microsoft wireless mouse can less over 3 months.

If u dont want to spend money on new batteries all the time, you could always get the Rechargeable Batteries
