actually if the girl plays well u dont need the coach to be cute. U can get any hot guys that plays badminton with u.

lol the point is to spar with others have to learn up first mar. If spar with not much skills then its quite boring lo - always sek kai pei So thats why hv to learn up first, dun give ppl laugh When u play in a social match - its not that nice when ur opponent give u chance or u keep missing shots etc. It's better to learn up and then play matches. Learning from someone in a non-competitive (ie pure learning environment) helps to build ur confi as well when playing with others.

dun waste time and cash, if today u are 15 years old or below, and ur parents wanna build u up to be a professional player, u can still go seek for coach to improve. and if u are not, then go play 3 times a week, confirm u can become a better player within 6 months.

U know it loses the point of badminton. Ppl smash for scores. Not everyone are train to catch smash. Haha if all party are well trained the game is very exciting.

and yes, badminton is not suitable for those lack in EQ. i remember a friend told me that in his Uni team, a fella destroy 1 of his own racquet everytime he lose a match lol

Doubles are all about teamwork. Ive seen male and female partner they make very good team.

Say u wana take up yoga/piano lessons etc, u can also play 3 times a week and be good in 6 months. However, not everyone can do it. That's why we need teachers who really know what they are doing, have the learning exp b4 so we can learn up faster, and understand what we are doing right/wrong which also helps in the learning process. Not necessarily wan tot be professional only must go to a coach. Sometimes its just that little boost that counts Like u go to gym and pay money to learn dancing/yoga/etc - not like ur becoming a professional - its just that u improve ur ability under the guiding hands of a trainer Makes u feel good mar I'm 21 and I also go for training under various sports altho im not gona become a professional. Sort of be an all-rounder mar

No matter what training u go on. You must keep practice or else no point. Yea you are right but you must remember this if the trainer dont teach you the right way you end up mastering the wrong way. If the trainer is good they teach u the best and shortest way to master every new skills

ahaha cool. I train 3 times a week. Saturday, Mon and Thur. Different day different group.
But they say badminton and jogging makes the heart pump differently. They said jogging is more efficient to burn fats

lol, yoga and piano is different from badminton. that 2 things u need some 1 to teach u the practical and theory then only u manage to get into it. But badminton is different thing because u just need to hold the racquet then it can start anytime, is just like if u start with huge interest u will play more often, and with those game play u learn thru experience, and when ur session mate willing to share techniques with u (well, most of the guys willing to teach gal, yes for free). And that basically got no different from u went for coaching, what a coach selling is basically his technique (which is his own) and his experience (which is his own as well) so the different is when u play with a huge group a people u can learn alot from them. But still is up to individual lar, i personally din go for any coach but i think my skill are enough for people around my level

ya..one can only practice to be on top of the game although to reach perfection in a game is relatively impossible.

Nah different one After someone coach u and u sendiri learn very different. Like stepping if i not wrong my coach teach me before 3 step for u to get from the back to front. Without trainning we run to it. Like smash also got its technique like hit straight to the net and it flip over. The way u hold the racket the way u control the shuttle without training and with very huge different.

of course there will be some difference geh, cause no matter how u still pay for the coach 1 mah. What Im trying to say is, if today u are like very young and go for training then the result will be significant. But today if u like 20+ years old seriously it might ages to adjust again.

thats why u can see most of those badminton academy got alot youngs (say 7 - 16) but u will hardly see a 20+ years old guy train in there, cause most of those 20's that train from young probaly become a state player or national player.

Whats the harm in knowing an additional skills. You might not be as good as those 7 - 16 but lets say 20 yrs old u learned it at least u can still apply it then not knowing at all.

Those 7-16 is to learn for competition most of us here intention is to learn to play well and enjoy + exercise.

thats because u need to play with people like me, more gentle

U need someone to coach u lor. In badminton there is an offensive stance and defensive stance. Defensive stance is where the racket facing downwards.

Learning sport depends on self determination as well.
So...no need to argue de=.=..lol..

I attended 4 badminton training since very small,
some of the coach are good, the others not to say they are bad but just can't let me absorb his teaching lesson.

well, 1st u must understand different people had different need. some people are merely for fun, some is for sweats and some is for real quality game, so is like u asked a gal who merely play for fun to join those hardcore training prolly is not that appropriate, for them miss hitting the shuttle is also a process for them to enjoy the game

LOL. Me too like that. Fast one I will run - dont even close eyes - just run like sailormoon , AUTOMATIC response get ur friend to be slow on u for awhile til u get the hang of it lo. If u go for proper coaching (or a friend who is patient enough) you can actually learn to lose this fear
