instead of going for turbo kit, aren't it more feasible to spend that money on engine transplant? hmm.gif
there is a limit on on 4g18 mods. mivec engine should give more tweaking option.... just my 2c. icon_rolleyes.gif

btw, about the ron 95 talk, shell and petronas' sux' big time.
bhp offer more bang for bucks. better acceleration and more mileage. but check out the throttle body more often.

True..but it will cost more to do transplant, plus other hidden cost such as changing wear n tar parts, endorsement, etc.. The 4g18 is atleast your engine and should be fine if u take good care of it before.

I have changed mine but in Proton service center though so not too sure about T5 or T10 but there're charging below ten bucks for it. Pretty resonable I must say.
Have a look at this car , everything is just so fine ! http://www.mudah.my/Waja-1.6-4066147.htm
What's a Hydro Booster anyway ?

Just bought myself K&N Filter instead of changing my exhaust system , right after installation , the engine feels light and wanna rev all the time. Definitely recommended.

But I broke one of my Clip that snaps and holds the filter in between. Replacing will cost me around seventy bucks, sigh.

What kind of K&N Air Filter you change? Where did you bought? Mind share with me? I'm having thoughts of changing the air filter too but have no idea which are reasonable.
Show me some pictures too tongue.gif notworthy.gif

I think there's two types of K&N Filter only right ? Mine one is Drop-in filter. I bought it from a forumer here and I can say quite a good deal.

If you're using Manual and looking to get the best performance , go for Open pod with profer heat shield else just stick with Drop In type. Price should range around Rm275 to Rm300. biggrin.gif

Definitely recommended to upgrade your stock filter to K&N.

just service the car's TB about a month ago. after 2nd refill with bhp's ron95, i noticed the car pick up from standstill
is not as smooth but pick up after 1.8k rpm is better than other brand of ron95. take out the TB, clean it up again and the acceleration
is back to normal again.

Btw, not sure if it's personal psycho or what, I just pump BHP ron95 (before this using petronas ron95), there is a noticable surge in power. Anyone try it yet? Haven't finish my first tank, so not sure if it improve FC or not.
*
you are not alone. bhp's ron95 does perform better than other brand of ron95. more power under lower rpm but my rpm needle just refuse to go beyond
3.8k rpm sweat.gif it takes ages to reach 4k rpm using shell's ron95 but no such problem with ron97.
btw, bhp's ron95 gives an extra mileage too!
just make to check the throttle body more often.
