QUOTE(HoneyBadger @ Sep 19 2009, 04:46 PM) Try Resco Explorer with the Registry Addin. It's one of the best so far. i've downloaded it..install the CAB file in my phone but fail to execute..it says that it needs to be certified or something..i thought i can use it for a 7 days trial? no?http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/ |

QUOTE(arkana @ Sep 21 2009, 12:14 AM) I'm considering to get this phone, but saw some video review and notice some lag on the "touch wiz" compare to htc "touch flo 3d" which is more smooth. Any comments on this ? the touch wiz is laggy no doubt but you could you SPB Mobile Shell for alternative UI..IMHO, SPB is much better as you can customize your UI similar to touch wiz but minus the laggy.. |

QUOTE(bluhound @ Sep 23 2009, 04:49 PM) You mentioned that you skinned your phone and added a Capdase screen protector. Is the skin also matte like the Capdase? nah..the skin is just a normal transparent plastic (see the picture on the post above)..feels better actually with it..more grip and no fingerprint (got a bit la but not that visible)! haha..the screen protector is awesome..if only i didnt messed it up.. |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Sep 24 2009, 08:02 PM) @scofield, i got some cabs that can help u make your ringtone louder, do u want em? but remember the louder the more "grainy" it sounds thanks dude, but i'm ok as it is now.. Added on September 24, 2009, 8:46 pm QUOTE(solidsnake_84 @ Sep 24 2009, 02:31 PM) first, download resco explorer from here : http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/* once you enter the download page, click at the "CAB File" button. It will pop up a box whereby you can download CAB Basic File, CAB Registry Editor etc.. download the CAB Basic file and CAB Registry Editor. On your phone, install the Basic file first followed by Registry Editor. once your done, refer to this page on how to edit the key : http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...al-few-seconds/ then i think you need to soft reset your phone..but do it on your own risk..alternatively you can PM baronic as he has a CAB file that could make your ringtone louder.. QUOTE(LuVz @ Sep 29 2009, 01:57 PM) garmin mobile XT basically is a gps navigation app developed for mobile phones..how it works? you need to pay for it obviously..what it does is, it will lock your position using satellite..once the satellite locks your position, you can start navigating to any destination.. |

i think the new SPB is great (maybe not so on the battery life) but i somehow prefer to use the default omnia UI..yes i know its laggy but then, i used the phone as my alarm and if i use SPB, the alarm sound is soft and only ring once..i've been trying to find where the sound and tone setting for SPB alarm since i first use it..i did some test though..set an alarm using the default UI then switch to SPB UI..the alarm works but only shows you the notification..no sound..

QUOTE(moxshax @ Oct 8 2009, 10:48 AM) Anyway, read few places about "skinning" your device. Does it really help to get those finger prints off? its doesnt get those finger prints off completely but it gives you more grip on the phone..honestly if you plan to do the skinning, just do it for your back cover..i did the skinning for both front and back but in the end i peel off the front part..looks better without it..Where is the best place to get one? |
