hello there.. i jz got an omnia 2.. 2nd hand though.. the previous user had flash it to sonblack's rom which i dun really like.. quite buggy interface.. and not much ram available..

im interested the rom u post on ur blog.. I8000NXXJD3 ROM.. may i know how much ram available after restarting?

so how do i flash? basically i jz need to run OCTANS_Downloader_v2.14.exe on my desktop n insert Eboot, PDA, MultiCSC and Phone with the files i downloaded from u?

i can jz ignore the MoviNAND and Contents?

how bout all the other settings? like Set priority bit and Erase NV PDA etc etc..

thx for the reply.. yea tats wat i read from modaco as well.. eboot may brick the phone.. but cant be too sure wat will happen if i din flash it... will it be incomplete or anything? how bout the flashing phone part? wat does it do actually?
if i dun flash these few parts it will still remain the same after i flash pda and csc?

if i hav the time i surely will go find out more on modaco.. but i jz dun hav time now due to exam...

ohh so the eboot will affect the ram? nice info.. will definitely flash it then..

i've finish downloaded all the files from ur blog and able to zip it out successfully.. i can assume there's no error rite?

so now i'll jz flash the eboot, pda and csc.. the csc language there jz change it to english.. others leave it blank.. no problem rite?

hey i jz realize the pda is in mst format.. can't load it in PDA as it oni support nb0 files... but can load in MoviNAND though..

ermm wat do u mean by "just need to put either pda OR movinand and multicsc or eboot"

ok now i understand shld only put movinand part and leave pda blank...

haha.. my gf cant even tahan using the stock rom... the winmo 6.1 one.. so sluggish!! i wonder wat samsung did in their quality control.. with tis phone spec.. it deserve a faster rom! CUSTOM ROM FTW!

support chinese input as well..

still using JD3 though.. works great wif the Msia/Spore csc.. hows JE1/2 anyway? any improvement?

hmm try to look into ur sd card.. whether the 2577 file is inside.. if its there dun worry then..

to be 100% sure.. u can try accessing ur sd card from pc.. then when u take plug out the usb cable, the garmin installer will autorun.. which also means after u upgrade the firmware of ur phone, it will autorun the installer, then u can install it.. need not to worry about keys though.. its ald registered..

p/s: the autorun will run everytime u take off ur sd card or access ur sd card through pc.. but then u oni need to install it once lar.. after tat everytime it prompt u to install u can jz click no..

aiks.. it'll be quite troublesome then.. go to pda expert or some other handphone shop.. ask them to install into ur sd card after u upgrade ur firmware.. or try google urself how to install which is not sumthing we shld discuss here..
