Latest reviews seems to point out that WinMo 6.5 is crappy.

Hey guys, I just installed S2U2 on my Omnia II. It's running FW IJ6. I have a problem with the lock screen tho. When someone calls in, I'd see the slider/ answer/ignore buttons that the S2U2 has but I also have
(the white bottom box with the caller ID). Is there any way for me to fix this? Oh yeah, I'm also using SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1 Build 9666 Beta 1. Is it true that S2U2 drains more battery power? |

QUOTE(firef0x @ Nov 16 2009, 10:43 PM) Hmmm... Last night, I slept and the battery was 100% full. I woke up, 6 and a half hours later, the battery was down to 69%. The battery that was left lasted me from about 1030am (66%) until 10pm (0%) with a 10 mins of wifi, 1 hour of recording, about 50 sms, 20 mins of calls. What concerns me is that, the battery was still drained even though I didn't use the phone at all while I was sleeping. Is there any 'optimal' setting for S2U2? |

QUOTE(firef0x @ Nov 16 2009, 11:33 PM) Your battery seems drain more when idle compare to when using it. I've changed the settings on S2U2 a bit. I hope the same thing doesn't happen again tomorrow. If it does, I'll remove S2U2 and reinstall it. EDIT: may be check the setting, is it the screen turn blank instead of turn off something like tat. |

I updated my NPS to 1.4 but after updating, it couldn't recognize my phone. I tried bluetooth, couldn't connect because Omnia II is on WinMo. I'm using W7 as my OS. I've set the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3. Don't know what I'm doing wrong since ActiveSYNC is working fine.

QUOTE(bluhound @ Nov 21 2009, 11:49 AM) Yep, anybody tested it yet? Does it have the end task 'X' problem? From what I've found out, the phone feels a bit faster. The sound is seriously louder, even though I set the system sound at 2 and Media Player sound at 5, my eardrums still hurt. From Modaco, somebody mentioned they only notice some improvements at viewing pictures in landscape mode.... Other than that, nothing. Now using IJC. Until there is a huge improvement over IJC, then it'll be worthwhile to move to IK5. Lazy to customise the setup again... Edit: After fully installing every program that I use (Skype, Google Maps, Opera 10b1, SPB MS 3.5.1, S2U2), I have about 45MB RAM left. QUOTE(JasonMania @ Dec 23 2009, 12:43 PM) I am trying to Flash my phone to IL5 , Did you run OCTANS in compatability mode? Windows XP SP3?it is my first time Flashing, I have read about it , and checked Modaco , Got all the files , here and everything. I am on Windows 7 so I also download and installed winXP drivers for Samsung MITs Driver successfully. However when I select "detect" on OCTANS Downloader v2.11 , Nothing happens?? the Start Downloading button is not activated, how long do I need to wait for it to detect my phone? , and yes i also tried with phone off and also on both didn't work. What can i do to fix it ? anyone can help me out please? and also which CSC to select from the list?? I chose i8000VIRIL5.csc , it is a UK version and since i use English I thought that would be the right version to choose I also checked Preserve device's contents and Erase CSC This is my Log: [Setup] Windows XP [Setup] Download Ram Size :41777920 bytes,(39 MB) OnDeviceChange \\?\USB#VID_04E8&PID_6619#5&32ae4d48&0&1#{25dbce51-6c8f-4a72-8a6d-b54c2b4fc835} |

Hey guys,
Anyone know how to resize the back-up file in NPS? I always try to restore but fail because the amount of memory is a lot lesser than the size of the back-up. If that's not possible, anyone got any other ideas on how I can restore the files I backed-up? |
