The phone is very laggy. The Problem is of course the resistive screen which isn't as responsive as capacitive screens. Comparing to the newer phones out there Omnia II is not a very good choice. The only good thing about this phone in my opinion is the camera.

I don't recommend you get omnia ii I actually regret spending so much money on it and I thinking of soon changing my phone to something else.

It is frustrating to use sometimes didn't have much problem with windows mobile 6.1 but after I upgraded to 6.5 I noticed the performance of the phone was reduced. Actually the problem is the software not much the hardware, windows mobile 6 is very old platform and I tried many custom ROMs but none of them are satisfactory.

I only have experience in winmo 3...or was it 5? Hahahaha! I'm obviously behind in terms of tech. The phone still has a little warranty left.

Honestly, right now, I'm thinking of getting an Android or another Symbian phone. Maybe either a Sony Vivaz or HTC Wildfire though I'd prefer something with a good camera.

supposedly im going to buy android base phone with good camera quality n gps but im in a tight budget n just started to work,so got myself omnia 2. at least i already have lot of app for winmo that i always use that can be reused in this omnia 2.

hi guys.. using this omnia quite a while.. got this prob, the picture taken from this camera was always blurr.. even my wife phone camera(SGH7220) better quality with it's photo captured.

Hi guys, I wish to ask something about bluetooth transfer where I tried to send a 300MB video file but sadly it says memory not enough cause it goes into main storage and I absolutely no idea how to bypass so it can goes directly to the 8GB my storage instead. Is there any wat to transfer large file directly into the 8GB storage without going through main storage? Thanks.

It will pop up by default as u installed SPB.
The only way to remove i think is to remove SPB.
It doesn't kacau me as i don't restart my phone that often.

U dun hv to use the NPS as NPS always gv u old firmware. U try to use OCTAN to flash it. for more detail please visit this website. There are plenty of firmware let u to choose with. Play with the newest firmware is fun and the only way not to get bored with ur omnia. =P btw, JH1 is 6.5 based and JH2 is 6.5.3 based.
