Added on January 25, 2010, 11:15 pm>>I found more free RAM. Total 144.17 MB. It is very good. I will test more.
After reboot I have 66,40 MB with Touchwizard on.

>>THE BIGGEST ADD-ON
'Samsung Today' which is found in Omnia Pro now included in the ROM.
Much improved memory management... I get about 70MB RAM with 'Samsung Today' on and touchwiz off.

A lot of users reported that 6.5 is much better, smoother and already quite stable. Interface and programs slightly different.

But personally, I'm still sticking to 6.1 till 6.5 stables down (stable down as in ROM don't release like every 2 to 3 week once). I want to wait till the ROM to be stabled down and has less updates before I upgrade. I am not in hurry smile.gif

After so long... finally upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5 (latest SG firmware)...

Wow... didn't know such a major upgrade. 6.5 is now smooth and fast compared to 6.1.

I just upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5 today... very worth it. The programs are less buggy... The respond of menus are so much smoother.

You can use this latest SG ROM which I'm using it now.

Hidden PowerDic.lnk at Windows folder. (Why Samsung hide it?)

Below is the instruction to make PowerDic.lnk appear at Start Menu:

- Open Resco File Exporer 2010, click Menu --> Options --> General.
- Go to Browser tab, and make sure untick all.
- Copy the PowerDic.lnk from Windows to Windows\Start Menu\Programs using Resco File Explorer 2010.
- Right click the PowerDic.lnk and choose Properties.
- Untick Hidden (untick twice) at the Attributes.

Now you will seen the PowerDic appear at Start Menu.

Mind to share your Garmin icon. The original doesn't look that nice.

OK, maybe I didn't make myself clear enough.

I was syncing before with Activesync. Now I suddenly cannot, when I plug in the Omnia, my PC doesn't react. I have also reinstalled Activesync, doesn't help.

I know that hard resetting will probably fix it, but am hoping for a better way. And no, my Notification Queue is fine, I checked already.

I used to have this problem. My problem lies at Firewall. Try temporary disable the firewall.
