I'm confused regarding the firmware.

http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...anys-i8000-rom/

Do i have to download and flash those ****WM65.zip.00x files or i just download the i8000NXXHJ6 zip files?? Why got 2???
*
the ***WM65.zip is for XXHJ1 .... the latest is XXHJ6 .... .. just download the XXHJ6 files (6 of them) will do...

Hi,
Can anyone confirm that the N95 TV-Out Cable (CA-75U) is compatible with our Omnia II ? I do not have one to try out.

The safest bet would be either G1, G6 or G7.

The original Brightstar set has H3

anybody knows how to run the garminXT under landscape mode? it run on portrait mode by default which is pretty annoying..
*
what i did was

- first, turn on the portrait/landscape option by changing the following registry value from 1 to 0:

HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI

- then assign <Rotate Screen> to the hardware button 1 or button 2 by going to Settings->Personal->Buttons

- Next, fire up GarminXT and press the assigned button to change to landscape mode.

hope this helps.

Got it from Askarperang @ RM13. He's doing a bulk order so you might need to wait.

As for photo, I don't have my camera now plus I don't know what to show since its just an SP with matte surface.

It resists fingerprint more but if your skin is oily(like me) there will still have prints. But then, it works as it should. Recommended purchase. It also makes the screen easier to swipe/glide.

hi faidz85, can gimme the link ? couldn't find it...thx

tried your method... but i cant see the <rotate screen> option.

any clue?
*
i. 1st make sure the value at HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI is indeed changed to 0
ii. then soft reset your device
iii. you should see the <Rotate Screen> option in the 'Buttons' page like below:

As for viewing Youtube videos, gave up already. Anyone has a solution to this?

you can perhaps try using http://www.google.com/mobile/products/youtube.html#p=default... it works well for me..
