update to the ROM recommended by Andrew, the Samsung menu is removed, i suppose that will bring up speed.
As for homescreen, u can disable the samsung UI and use 3rd party ones like SPB Mobile Shell.
with these 2, lagging issue is history biggrin.gif

u need microsoft active sync(XP) or windows mobile device center(vista,win7), otherwise mana boleh sync since your PC doesn't have any syncing software? tongue.gif

there is no such thg as ap sets in SG.
If the warranty card is still valid, u can get them repaired in SG SSC.

All Programs/settings is for Winmo 6.1 and before...AFAIK 6.5 tarak ini benda.

Simple, Winmo was never for faint hearted.
If u wanna get a simple phone off the rack, go for Iphone and u'll be happy with it.
Customization is an important thing in Winmo, after done tweaking here and there, i don't see the slowness that u mentioned.
At the time Omnia2 was launched, Win7 wasn't out yet, that's why the cd doesn't work.
Btw, i don't find the SW as of good use as i can just drag and drop any files into my phone and sync contacts/emails using Microsoft Active Sync/Windows Mobile Device Center as most ppl that work in an office will be having this software so that you may sync with company's outlook.

Lock Screen timing u might need to change registry value...google for it or just install a 3rd party lock screen and u can just change the setting easily nod.gif

I once had that issue with my Omnia i900 previously. When i plug into another PC, it connects. But when plug into the PC that i usually use, it doesn't react.
So i resulted in changing to another usb port or just simply try it later and it works. The actual cause, seriously i have no idea hmm.gif

Viewing Chinese Font File Name
Many users who uses Window Mobile 6(WM6) English Version were unable to view Chinese Font File Name or Chinese Characters on their Omnia. If yours is a WM6 bought in Singapore, the Omnia allow you to view both English and Chinese at the same time. Singapore Omnia sets is special as Singapore is a bilingual country. Other Omnia sets sold elsewhere may not allowed you to view Chinese Characters on English WM6 set. You need to install a Chinese Software on your WM6 if you want to view Chinese on your Omnia.
Download Kaidi sunfon chinese font>>>
There is something you must take note which is not to transfer file name with chinese characters using Active Syn. If you have done that, it will appear as weird characters on your Omnia. Go to Setting, Connections, USB connection Mode set to Mass Storage. Copy the files from the computer to your Omnia 16GB which is now seen as a removable drive on your computer. After copying, you will be able to view chinese fonts on your file name. If you like to copy to the main memory, use the file manager provided on the Omnia or other third party applications like Resco.

I find JD3 messaging is still slow especially while loading my 4k sms and while the process of sending sms. How bout u guys?
