Those formats uses compression to reduce the size of the files from Blu-ray original copies and store it in another format. There are various formats used.

How much compression used will determine the quality. Also the sound is mostly reduced from HD Audio to normal DD/DTS sound.

If you want the full quality, then it needs to be ripped to M2TS format but the size of the file will be huge.

Please be more specific what you mean by something big and round

Could be the problem lies with Realtek. When pressured by forumers, AC Ryan staff said they are have to revert to Realtek to hurry up with the HD Audio matter.

Another Realtek 1073DD player.

Don't dig up and quote my Mar 13 post lah If I can remember correctly that time Dvico (can't remember 6600 or N1) using 1073DD only.

Nowadays probably different. Not up to date about Dvico products, but even AC Ryan POHD nowadays using 1073DD+ chip (1073DD C+ to be exact).

That means the old N1 was the one using the 1073DD.
