somehow it doesn't work properly. after i setup, the 'play/preview 'button is not there on the screen b4 u play the movie...

What is the best price of 6600A selling now.

This one base on realtek chip so how is the PQ compare to the WDTV Live? CAn it play high reframes rate mkv? Is the menu still laggy like the 6500A?

Guys, need help a bit. My brother bought tvix m7000a and yamaha ysp4100 soundbar. However the sound wont come out of the soundbar straightaway. He needs to switch off/on the soundbar after pressing play on tvix then only sound comes out.

I've already set tvix to hdaudio passthru as 'on' to bitstream the .mkv files. There's no problem with ps3 n xbox360.

I tested the 7000a to my onkyo receiver n there's nothing wrong wh it so confirm it's the communication btw tvix n yamaha ysp4100. Do u guys know of any compatibility issue btw ysp 4100 and tvix m7000a? Or it's just my bro's ysp 4100 is a defect unit.

previously i was thinking letting go my 6600a but since it was my first player it does have some sentimental value to me..

People nowadays want more capability from their player without breaking the bank.. and with more n more players hitting the market it has been a battle TVix wud surely lose but still TVix still has its own features that is better than the newer players.. IMHO TVix has passed its glory days.. but that's me..

just connected (via USB )a Hotway 4-Bay SATA HDD Enclosure, filled up with 4 x 1.5TB WD Greens to my Divco 6600

The Dvico was able to read(in addition to it's own hard drive hooked up internally) files from ONLY two of the 4 harddrives from the hotway. These are accessible via the TWO USB icons fom the movie menu.

This was a disappointing discovery as it negates two of the four disk bays...

When connected to my My PC, i am able to access all the 4 bays without issue...

I guess NAS is really the only way to go for those with large number of files...

Yes. you are right. I believe this issue is not only suffer by Dvico alone...
