Can this USB dongle work with the Tvix N1+?
Intellinet 150N USB
It does mention on the website that it uses the Ralink RT3070.
Anyone?

I like the sleek polished aluminium case. Look so classy when you pair it with expensive HT set.
Yeah, like bro htkaki said, the rear part resembles BD1. |

These are some phrase:Be slimmer, Be smarter! 5th Generation Premium Multimedia Player HD Audio with HDMI 1.3 Innovative Cover-Art User Interface Web-Remote for iPhone, iPad and Android Smart Phones One click HDD Installation/ eSATA and External ODD support High Fidelity Lossless Music Support (APE, FLAC, WAV) It uses 1283 C+, all spec same as M6600N but no built in wireless and optional TV tuner. New add in eSata port and component port. The price is attractive, about RM700 only. We will start to sell by end of next month. The installation of hard disk is screwless and very nice design but BD 1 will scratch the hard disk and void the warranty. It has VFD also but BD 1 does not have. And most important, it is cheaper then BD-1. The size is about same as PlayOn!HD. This post has been edited by Ideatools: Jul 27 2010, 10:10 AM |

THe USB dongle is the cheapest solution to getting the TviX N1 networked but might choke on HD content. The Homeplug 200mbps should be able to handle HD content right being wired and all? Also, are aztech homeplugs any good? Anyone with experience setting up and using it? |

Dear Friends, here is the new firmware for M6600N:
The M6600 and S1’s last firmware was 2.0.3 (official release) and we’re about to release the new pre-release version firmware Rev 2.0.4B8. This firmware is applied to all 6600 series (6600A/N, 6620N, 6640N, 6600N+, 6620N PVR DUO, 6631N and 6632N) and Slim S1. The new firmware for N1 will follow soon, if no critical problems are found. Here’s the download link: http://demod.dvico.com/PreRelease/tvix_6600_2.0.4_B8.zip The major differences from last version (2.0.3) are supporting BACKGROUND RECORDING, TRUE CINEMA frame-rate and Web-Remote™ 3rd version. You can playback even BD back-up file at foreground, while 2 independent HD channels are recording at background. The upgrade procedure takes less than a single minute. If the firmware upgrade fails, please do the SAFE-UPGRADE. Release Notes for Rev 2.0.4B8 since Rev 2.0.3 (last official firmware). [Changes] [Multimedia Player/ System] 1. Supports True Cinema Frame-Rate (23.976Hz) • Supports exact 23.976Hz of frame-rate, so remove the un-natural artifact of frame insertion. • Automatic detection of 24/ 23.976Hz. 2. Supports the Web-Remote 3rd version. • Supports the folders and cover-art files on the network drive and USB drive, as well as internal drive. • Web-Remote will change & refresh accordingly when you select the device. • Shows current playback list properly. 3. Improves the display speed of Cover-Art • Caching the cover-art thumbnail and improves overall display speed quite a bit. 4. Enables text subtitle display while FF/REW. • You can see the subtitle even FF/REW. 5. Fixes some 60Hz/120Hz MKV title mosaic problems. 6. Fixes some bugs on universal jukebox. • Fixes short intro-clip problem. • Fixes some navigation bugs. 7. Supports the Croatian menu language. [HDTV/ PVR] 1. Supports the background recording (for 6600 series) • You can playback any file (even BD-backup) at foreground while recording 2 independent HD channels. Scenario is like this: 1. You start record 2 RF channels recording. 2) Press “Movie” or “Music” or “Photo” or “Menu” button to browse the contents of the HDD. 3) Select whatever format of files you want, even BD back-up files are O.K. 4) Start playback. 5) If you hit “INFO” button on remote, you can see small ® button appears on the info window that means it’s currently recording. 6) You can even playback the current recording files as well. 2. Improves switching speed between FILE MODE and HDTV mode • From 4~5 seconds to less than 1 seconds [Network] 1. Fixes YOU-TUBE problem. [Know Issues] 1. Playback BD title on ODD has some problems. The trick playback and skip operation shows “VIDEO PLAYBACK ERROR”. We’ll fix it soon. Enjoy! I think all these new players is already obsolete if it doesn't have HDMI 1.4 that supports 3D. I already have a media player...a cheap one i.e WDTV Live so I will wait till a player with HDMI 1.4 comes out before I upgrade.
