Just bought the N1+ from Ideatools at KLAVSHOW Now need to know the brands of USB dongle thats compatible with the N1+.


Can this USB dongle work with the Tvix N1+?

Intellinet 150N USB

It does mention on the website that it uses the Ralink RT3070.

Anyone?

I like the sleek polished aluminium case. Look so classy when you pair it with expensive HT set.

I think its called M3600 which is same spec with M6600N.
not for sell yet.

As long as wireless is using realtek chipset, it can support, like A.C.Ryan wifi, which is 300Mbps. We try this and it can play 1080p mkv file nicely. But I don't think 150Mbps can support, although it is cheaper.

It uses 1283 C+, all spec same as M6600N but no built in wireless and optional TV tuner. New add in eSata port and component port. The price is attractive, about RM700 only. We will start to sell by end of next month.

The installation of hard disk is screwless and very nice design but BD 1 will scratch the hard disk and void the warranty. It has VFD also but BD 1 does not have. And most important, it is cheaper then BD-1. The size is about same as PlayOn!HD.

Ok thanks. But right now I'm wondering whether to get a USB dongle or just splurge on a Homeplug network setup. THe USB dongle is the cheapest solution to getting the TviX N1 networked but might choke on HD content. The Homeplug 200mbps should be able to handle HD content right being wired and all?

Also, are aztech homeplugs any good? Anyone with experience setting up and using it?

We have no idea about this because never test. But I heard that Aztech not so good. That is why they are not selling well. I still recommend to pull a wire.

Being honored the first one to watch demo using M3600. Must listen to superd HD Audio pass thru.
Picture production is smooth and noiseless. Also, BD menu is a thing of the past for Divico.

Cannot wait aready and must goto the toilet now.............

The M6600 and S1’s last firmware was 2.0.3 (official release) and we’re about to release the new pre-release version firmware Rev 2.0.4B8.
This firmware is applied to all 6600 series (6600A/N, 6620N, 6640N, 6600N+, 6620N PVR DUO, 6631N and 6632N) and Slim S1.
The new firmware for N1 will follow soon, if no critical problems are found.

You need to put the new official firmware 2.0.5 from Dvico.com together with this new bluecore together at root directory. After upgrade 2.0.5, patch again on the bluecore firmware, than u can enjoy the hd audio pass thru.

Recently N1 and S1 facing some problem in playing the new mkv file using mkvmerge v4.2.0. Dvico currently is working on this problem and will try to solve it by next firmware release. As for those can re-merge the mkv, pls follow the intruction in Dvico website:

Just got my N1 Plus yesterday. A very good player and manage to use the Tvixie software to create coverart and also the moviesheet. very convenience. And can watch the preview as well... Fulamak

Btw, I notice the shop sell two version, N1 and N1 plus, whats the different aaa???

Hi Bro, N1 is using 1073DD and N1+ is using 1073DD+. The different is N1+ can support TrueHD and DTS HDMA pass thru but 1073DD can support TrueHD downmix to Dolby and DTS HDMA downmix to core DTS.
Btw, if u purchase a wifi N (300Mbps) u can use iPhone as web remote. it is fun.

i'm planning to buy N1 (jumping ship from other media player and opt N1 for wireless streaming feature), well hope u guys can give feedback for my queries:
1) any issue to play youtube? i'm using 4MB streamyx wireless for my house
2) any heat issue if i put the N1 inside the tv console clear glass drawer

Yes, N1 can play youtube. But due to codec issue, some youtube movies may not run. As for heat problem, pls drill some holes for heat to dissipate or it is no good for the player due to too hot.

I think all these new players is already obsolete if it doesn't have HDMI 1.4 that supports 3D. I already have a media player...a cheap one i.e WDTV Live so I will wait till a player with HDMI 1.4 comes out before I upgrade.
