i wud like to know tat too .. coz fr the update description .. shudn't need to reset it at all.. coz they say .. with the new technology .. the upgrading wud affect our contacts and data ... so not sure y we need to reset (coz reset will delete all contacts etc).. wudn't tat defeat the purpose of them tryingt o advert the new technology for upgrade ???

but say all your apps are in the memory card. if u hard reset wun all the links (in the app menu) for ur apps disappears and return to default ? do we need to relink them 1 by 1 ? or if u backup the phone memory ... that wud automatically appear after the restore ?

hey how come after i upgraded to v3.1 and did a hard reset .. suddenly i can't access my memory card. asking for unlocking password for memory card ?? tried 12345, 00000 all the starndar not working ?? helppppp

alamak.. how i know i thot it's the same using the phone backup... since i got 2 5800 ... so dun wanna screw up my pc files with the other backup.

so how to solve this ?

wonder can we just ON the flash permanently .. i mean set the setting permanently coz i think each time take a photo with flash the quality is nicer. so now each time turn on camera .. gotta go manually set flash - on. wonder can put default as flash ON ?

yah not too bad lah .. the cost .. no point when u r trying to search for something and you try to be cheap and using the i-gps will have to wait 10min-15min for a lock... wasting too much time. rather pay 0.10 and get it in seconds... mine locks is less than 5sec most of time..
