Calibrate Projector screen and 5.1 audio, Advice needed.

I just finish hang my projector , what the next thing to do before i DIY the Projector screen? do i need to calibrate it and get the projected size. or what??/ if yes? how or what is the fast method.
anyway to calibrate the 5.1 audio?

Next step is to decide how large a screen you want and optimal height to hang it. Since you've already hung your projector your screen size will be determined by the zoom factor and your sitting distance. Calibration of the image quality can come after you have your screen.

I'd have thought that you should work out the screen size first, and then figure out where to place your pj based on the specs.

What I did was that firstly I determine where I will be seating. Then I place centre of the screen in line with my eye sight. Then I have them hang the projector accordingly.
