QUOTE(瘟神 @ Sep 18 2009, 12:56 AM) Market Update: Dow 9,765.03 -26.68 (-0.27%)
S&P 500 1,063.96 -4.80 (-0.45%)
Nasdaq 2,123.10 -10.05 (-0.47%)SO RED What?? No, that is not red.. that is just a very very very small dip compared all those huge green shoots that have been sprouting like weeds the past 8 trading sessions. I like to see at least -100 or higher before even considering red. US market is still bullish. Tons tons of money are ready to pour in.. including those from Malaysia. Can you believe this? Anyway,..the market is essentially flat. Somebody needs to call the top here and retrace from here. Crude oil will go down.. they got too much. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Oil-edges-lo...n&asset=&ccode=This post has been edited by danmooncake: Sep 18 2009, 07:00 AM

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Sep 19 2009, 05:02 AM) UK economy? Its world-wide. Still don't understand why stock market keep raising. Economy world-wide still not recovering. Its fictitious that almost everywhere is year high. Enjoy the fun while its last. The needs for those fund managers to perform caused the major run up. The least invested fund managers will lose their jobs if they don't have any of their client money invested, therefore they gotta to buy something no matter what. I won't be surprise if the US Dow reach 10K first before the next leg down. Most of those companies are trading way ahead of their current projected earnings for next quarter and if there is any slight negative news or revised guidance, we will see a major sell off. Let's ride this train for now and be ready to jump off the moment you see the tracks ending.

QUOTE(teehk_tee @ Sep 22 2009, 01:30 AM) Oil might be speculated up on supply fears after one of the oil bosses warn of underinvestment in oil supplies today. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8266200.stmi'd say we've decoupled from the July oil fluctuations that affected local energy stocks. in august, it was.. rise no feel, fall no feel. local market probably has immuned against short term fluctuations in prices. yeah probably strong profit taking activities after the holiday, all the way till maybe Friday. then another new wave. fooooh. go go go KNM! Total oil CEO uttered is BS. The world got plenty of oil supply. He just wants to fatten his pay cheque. This post has been edited by danmooncake: Sep 22 2009, 01:54 AM
