QUOTE When you mess with a gamer and his toys, things could get ugly. A Johns Hopkins University student killed the guy who broke into his residence with a samurai. Prior to this incident, the house had been previously broken into, having a Sony PlayStation and two laptops stolen, which might explain the aggressive response.
The intruder, who was pronounced dead on the scene, had a fatally lacerated upper body and a nearly-severed hand. Initial investigation yields that the man was killed with only one strike of the sword, so the nearly-severed hand must've tried to block the sword.
The student, who lives with three other students, heard noises at about 1AM. He went downstairs to check it out, and since they were robbed on a previous occasion, brought a samurai with him. According to the student, he saw that the door to the garage had been broken into, and that was when the intruder attacked him.
That didn't end pretty, but the police confirm that the guy was guilty of at least breaking and entering, though it wasn't clear if he was the one who nicked the PlayStation and the laptops.
If you're curious, it wasn't mentioned in the report what kind of Sony PlayStation was stolen, but it was certainly enough to make the student pull a Battousai. Police have released the student, and the city state attorney's office has yet to determine if they're pressing charges. Sosi would be disgusted if the student is charged. charged for protecting his property from an intruder. disgusting

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Sep 17 2009, 08:44 AM) in close quarters combat guns are at times nowhere near as useful as swords/knives Well it depends on the user's training for both knives users and gun users. if ur not careful ur more likely to hurt urself.

lOL~ katana is not really hard to find.. genuine ones are but those 'cap ayam' or imitation ones are everywhere. My uncle got an authentic one back at home, hurt you wrist even by swinging it, and everytime i touch it, make my hand itch.. dunno why..
Neways kudos from the kid, the robber should have js ran out instead of attacking the kid..

Katanas was sold somewhere in the northern States...however, there aretimes you may shipped it in as a decorative item. Itdepends oncustom to let you go. If they claim that katanas are dangerous...then what about those rempit with parang?
Try to buy them without having them sharpen...it probably could helps.
