The default theme is nice too...still i prefer FlamEmo's theme. More graphical stuffs.

Added on October 3, 2009, 4:04 pmmaybe those people who left bad comment about this phone din update their phone sometimes even the seller dnt really know bout those app. i've been to this 1 shop in Ipoh, just wan to make a survey before buying this phone n that guy told me that this phone got many problem. so,it is not recommended.

Yes the picture looks very decent indeed, I think its going to be better if you enable flash

Its weird why there is so much negative review for this phone. I've used W950 before and this phone is an upgrade in any way from it. Its faster, more stable, decently feature packed at such low price. There is no other company that can quite match the specification this phone can offer. Even with stock firmware its very stable and fast, with updated one its just makes it even better

Modding is easy on SE (when I mean mod I mean hack ) but installing theme can be real pain for the first time. I managed to get it wrong and need to reflash it back again But I managed to overcome it, and use Satio theme, looks great kinda resemble N86 theme I installed on my N73

the flash is pretty bright and ugly. especially if taking pictures of people. objects and stuff is ok. but on people its ugly.

so happy to see so many g900 fans here. just bought myself one a few days back - my first symbian, so it seems. to tell the truth, i hardly even knew what symbian means. just bought this baby by chance and a bit 'kena' coz paid rm800 for it!!!

hate myself even more because of the problem with mp3 player - oh, u know, the thing abt not being able to play by folder. well, it's just that all my mp3 is so neatly organized into folders... let's see if any1 can help me with this one ? tried th link for playlist editor upfront just now but 4shared says the file has been removed.. anybody have any solution for this? help is kindly appreciated.

First and foremost, welcome to the club!
-Symbian is an OS for phone[mostly]. And in G900 we'e using Symbian UIQ which cater more to smartphones.
-Not sure about how you managed the playlist, For me, I categorize my songs by genre, then after i added into my phone, i manually added the songs into my phone's playlist by selecting the whole folder into it. Hope it helps

rm800 hahaha. i bought ori when it first came out. i kena rm1700 for it. hahahah. although to this day got no regrets. best phone i ever owned. i cant help you with the mp3's although there are a few 3rd party mp3 players out there check out persian forums and you might be able to find something good.

1) how do we sort by genre? what do u mean by this? do u edit the mp3 tags etc? silly me, i only lump things into folders.
2) do u mean media manager by the link? wll try it tomorrow.

and panda man, rm1700 ???? oh, that's ori... and baaaaack then. fr prev posts, saw that ppl can get rm580 etc?
but if i can get things tuned to my liking, really dont mind too.

Welcome to the club I paid RM740 for mine, I felt cheated too but its OK. The phone worth every cent Anyhow I still have HPM-70 from my first SE phone, W700 and it worked great with G900

Using the integrated Media Player is a pain, I use LGC Jukebox for most of my music, CorePlayer for lossless music and video/youtube player

Other must have program is Opera Mobile. The only games I install is Midnight Pool 3D, I tried some other game but I don't like to play much games on phone, I have laptop to do that

phone's prices are unpredictable. this month it costs u rm1000++ and next month u come again, its already rm700--.

agreed so no matter when u buy it..u still could feel that u bought too early

And now the price for 2nd hand G900 is even lower than P1..

hahahah well this is what technology is. price up and down. specs up and down. wait and wait and you will never buy anything heheh. the never ending cycle.

eh guys.....our G900 can install skype or any chat client which enable us to do something like VOIP?....for example, use skype to talk to another ppl on skype.....let say i going to overseas, i dont want to use my G900 for roaming coz it is damn exp...so can i use my WIFI to do something like skype or google talk?
