Looks interesting indeed. Supposedly will have HDMI, component, composite, Toslink, Ethernet and two USB connectivity. WiFi is optional via a USB WiFi adapter that will be sold separately ($69.99).

Design wise, looks ok with good thought put into the connectivity with a Seagate FreeAgent Go drive.

Reading the article, it appears pricing is expected to be $149.99. A bundled all-in-one deal for $289.99 includes a 500GB FreeAgent Go drive.

No clue yet as to the playback formats this bugger will support though

I wont be buying this, as I am happy with my WDTV so far.

If I wan to buy another, probably will be the ACRyan. or maybe bite the bullet to dvico, Since K8118K & Gang keep telling me how good it is.

So many HD media players lately. Saw one at AllIT LY yesterday, no brand name at all, just written "HD Media Player" or something. A quick glance at the specs, it has HDMI and plays MKV and RMVB, etc. Priced as RM349 if I can remember correctly. laugh.gif

AC Ryan/Xtreamer + other Realtek chipset player should do the work just fine.
