vpets hard to get new ones now, even if you can find, most are selling at really high prices...be careful of fakes and read the guide before buying, most are legit but there are fakes floating around.

For Digimon Mini, there are two types. One called Digimon Mini(2005) and Digimon Xros Mini(2011). These two versions cannot battle each other.

The 2005 Mini is a remake of the vpets v1-v3, the digimons on them are the same as the original vpets. The only main difference is that the vpets could only digivolve up to MetalGreymon(Ultimate) but the Minis can digivolve up to Omegamon(Mega) with the right care steps of course. There's also limited edition UNIQLO Mini, 5 designs total. This version can battle with the other 3-prong connector types released before 2005.

The 2011 Xros Mini is based on the 6th Season Digimon Anime: Xros Wars. Red for Xros Heart(Shoutmon evo line), Blue for Blue Flare(Greymon line - Xros version) and Black for Twilight(Skullknightmon)
