Hey, I want to ask about the Digimon IC Asia version izit same with the Japan 1?
The ICs that are sold in the local shops now are the US version Data Link. It's the only english version available. Gameplay follows the animes, digimon reverts back to rookie after battles.
Japanese ICs are simliar to the Vpets, 1 egg, few rookies>champions etc
Both have a colloseum in-game, it advances your digimon's growth making it able to digivolve to higher evolutions.
Easy Comparison

Japan IC | US Data Link
1 Egg Starter | 3 Starters - Gaomon, Agumon, Lalamon/Raramon
Vpet like | digimon doesn't die if not fed/taken care
3 prong connector(101,102 only) | none
infra red battle|infra red battle
I'm missing out some details but these are the main differences

Hey guys, where can i get Digimon Digivice D-Ark? They said is better than D-Power? is that true?
D-Arks aren't available locally, you have to buy it online or best go to Japan itself
Not sure about it being better or not yet. Haven't really tried. But D-Arks and D-Powers have several different starter digimons depending on which version you have.
D-Power(that I've encountered)
buttons different from D-Arks

Hello

Well, when I was dismantling the pendulum, I got a lazy man idea, why don't I cut small pieces of paper and stack them together below the battery cap? And guess what, it worked (I did a shake-test at the level of a mad man

).
The problem is, during that process the old soldered speaker wire came off

Well that shouldn't be much of a hassle, I can just re-solder it back.

Anyway, I will upload later the picture of the PCB, maybe you all can figure out for a more 'elegant' fix for the fading-->reset problem

Just telling you first that it will be taken by HP camera

On top of that, when I bought this pendulum (used of course), the only viewable angle is low, if I view 90 degrees I wouldn't see anything, but it becomes clearer as I lower the angle of viewing. I tried swapping the LCD with an old Digimon version1, but it was not working. Any idea?
I'm not sure about the fading problem, as I've not encountered that yet.. I think. I've encountered the digimon reseting after hatching, but change of battery helps.
About placing paper in the digivice, maybe the circuit board isn't screwed on properly? Just open it and tighten it and see.
Not sure if this helps, but I had the low angle view with one of mine too. Really got me concerned as it was the V6 vpet.
I opened it and cleaned it with a cotton bud. It had some beach sand i think, it looked like sand + salt in it from the previous owner. But it's fine now that the circuit area's been cleaned.
