the book is standard dan brown fare. There are some parts of the book that are merely elaborations on things so those got really slow and I tended to skip those parts. Other than that, I couldn't really put it down except to do homework.
At least there's no sexual relations at the end of it, the way the other four have, so it's different at least in that department. I mean, we all know the style that Dan brown uses ... some crisis happens and specialists are called in, whether it's civilian scientists in Deception Point, or Susan Fletcher in Digital Fortress, Robert Langdon himself in Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. Same thing in this one, but mainly Langdon is the specialist. *eyeroll* Not much of a deviation from the rest of his work, I'm afraid, but I like his books because of the historical evidence behind everything in there.
same here for me, that's why i'll just wait for the softcover version plus i usually will read it a few times so softcover is preferrable to me.At least there's no sexual relations at the end of it, the way the other four have, so it's different at least in that department.
