Thanks for the advice, so u think it's better in general to ask about her opinion first rather than surprise her when it comes to wallet ? Will take a look at charles & keith too.

Yes, I would rather have a "less but both happy from start to end" situation, rather than "receiver overjoyed at first, disappointed later because gift not suitable" situation. I think a fellow forumer once said he gifted his wife a nice branded bag, turned out the wife didn't like the colour or something.. he had to return it.

daisysummer very true. Personally I use a big wallet enough to fit my old* phone, so that I can bring it for formal occasions, because I dislike handbags in general. Mine also comes with a shoulder strap, in case wanna carry on shoulder instead.
(* I forgot to consider phone size when I bought new one last year 😂)

Hello, I'm planning to do those DIY type of stuff like steel grid plate + polaroid pictures with fairy lights for my gf's next month birthday.

But just using those wire mesh steel grid seems so mainstream and not unique. I'm thinking of using some kind of blank black board or something, anyone got any advice or recommendations ? I searched google and shopee but most of them is the same old mesh steel grid. I want something special and unique for the background for the photos to be place at.

You can order MDF boards online, then just cut to the shape you need. You can paint it whatever color you want, you can even buy blackboard paint, then you can use chalk to write on the board.

If you want to be able to pin things easily to the board, you can look for corkboards. You can paint corkboards too.

Are roses in a box suitable to be given to your gf for proposal? icon_question.gif

Or the traditional bouquet is only acceptable? hmm.gif

I find the roses in a box to be more convenient to put on a table.

First of all, good luck and all the best to your proposal!

And also, there's no harm in a bucket/box of flowers - preferably something medium (not too large) that she can carry with.

Just curious, do you know what kinds of flowers that she likes? The reason I'm asking is because 1 of my friends proposed his gf few years ago, and he legit proposed her with a box of ferrero rocher biggrin.gif Was really nice and they were able to immediately sit and eat right after that surprise, quite neat actually.
