It does have in Malaysia. Currently I have one. If you are comparing Aego T with Z5500, then it's like comparing chicken with duck. Aego T is a entry level for AV system, while Z5500 is a computer speakers. If you got the money, go for Aego T.

I bought it in PG.

Hi-Fi Choice
488D-01-01 & 02-01
Midlands Park Centre, 1 Stop
Jalan Burma, 10350,
Penang

If you want it in KL, I found a shop in Lowyat Plaza, ground floor. That guy sells audiophile stuffs, but i am kinda sure that his price is slightly higher. YOu need to bargain with him

True, comparing both, Aego T will cost more than Z5500. But go and audition it, and listen for yourself. I have listen to Aego T, Z5500, Gigaworks S750 and you know it, I chose Aego T. Z5500 has nothing special about it except the looks. S750 has nice sound, but not beyond Aego T. Plus the subwoofer has the tendency to burn out due to design flaw. Aego T has the black piano finish that capture my eyes, and the sound kick both S750 and Z5500 into the drain. Just my 2 cents, not trying to promo anything.

Aego T is at around RM5k while Z5500 and S750 is ranging from 1.5k to 2k only, thats less than half price compare to Aego T.

To me Z5500 has kickass bass and nice looks, thought its a very good buy for me.

I haven't heard Aego T before but normally for movie (5.1), the difference in sound quality between system is not so great as compare to 2 channel listening.

Not sure whether the difference between Aego T compare to S750/Z5500 is worth more than twice the price

The package includes a sub and 5 sats, and no amp. You'll need an AV or amp to connect all 5 sats and the sub.

I mean the sound, and price as well. For those who are not into audiophile hobby and going into it, Aego T is a good choice, not excessively expensive plus you got a great sound. Of course you'll need a great amp to go with it. Audiophile speakers can go way above tens of thousand, and their ability to create the feeling, that soundstage, the clarity, etc is something i am unable to describe here.

Anyway, how much does a 1 year old Aego T worth now? Out of the 5 sats, I only have used 2 and the sub for music listening. When I bought it I thought i was into movie and going to use it for movie but it seems that I don;t have much time to watch movie, instead i spend more time listening to music using Aego rather than movie. Mine is still in mint condition, no scratch. I was thinking maybe I am going to sell it and buy a new speaker, just for music.

Sorry TS for asking here.
