guys, for last few days, i've been trying out Media Portaln which seems quite popular...
but i dont like it much, itz not that user friendly, although the interface looks nice

have any of u guyz been using it?
is it nice to use, or is it just me who donno how to use properly...?

Maybe u dont know how to use it properly... try out some other skins, for e.g. StreamedMP and also the plugins such as MovingPictures, OnLineVideos, ShoutCast, MP_TVSeries, etc.

I've been using it for a few months... much better flexibility, control and options compared to XBMC.

This is my video with auto download of cover and synopsis from imdb. It's very powerful with skinning and you can custom it the way you like it. I feel it's very good and user friendly if you know how to configure. My movie library only need a remote control to navigate. Plus I can use external player like MPC-HC to play the movie through Mediaportal.
