the big 4 i work, the industry i'm in.. it's constantly peak period.. my record was more than 48 hours no sleep to finish up work..which before that.. i've only sleep like 2-3 hours day for a week... i just sleep like pig the next day i finish everything.. and that was couple of weeks ago..LOL.. now i'm already on another tight deadline job.. sucky life..

ACCA Qualification will help u secure a job, but experience and personality is what counts when it comes to promotion.. for my firm, u have to serve minimum 1.5yrs as junior, 1.5 year as senior, 1 yr as exec senior then only can bcome manager.. but very little ppl can do that la.. completed ACCA only helps as in u can focus on ur job full time and dun have to juggle between job and studies which is very tiring.. don't think ACCA will give u advantage.. in my firm, ACCA grad and degree grad gets the same pay and treatment.. the managers also will expect an ACCA grad to perform better than degree grad bcos it's ACCA!.. so it's not all that good  heheheh.. higher expectation from ppl

If i'm not mistakened, as an ACCA affiliate, you are treated no differently than a degree holder right? However, after gaining the 3 years experience which qualifies you to be an ACCA, then u'll get a substantial pay rise right??

Oh, having an ACCA cert is also better as it increases your market value in the workforce as the firms do not have to send you for training and give you study leave. Isn't it?

imagine if the UK employee earning 2000 pound per mth and only need to pay about 170 per year,but we leh,if earn RM 2000 a month need to pay about RM 1000+ a year leh...

Im not going cauze i think RM300 is quite expensive..
