I missed the CKF 2.3 irc .. :~( dint know about it until it was over..i thot he only taught 3.2... really regret lorr.. I find 2.3 really difficult.. can anyone help me out??? neone who went for his irc.... share sum tips? need it badlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

neone whos takin 2.4 this dec 06 exam..can consider to go for chow kim tai's irc.. in FTMS..it starting this friday 10/11/06..

ACCA Paper 2.4 - Financial Management & Control
Section A: One compulsory question worth 50 marks
Question 1
investment appraisal & about 10 marks management accounting.
Section B: Two out of 4 questions each worth 25 marks
Question 2 to 5
2 of section B questions will be in the area of financial management and the other 2 questions
on management accounting. Of these, one question will be purely theory. In the last exam
paper, the pure theory question was on aspect of financial management. This time may be
financial management as well.
Possible topics:
1. Last Paper Lack Investment Appraisal. Focus on - Investment App :: Appraisal Techniques , evaluation decision with relevant cost, inflation, tax adjustment(might incorparate probability and expected value) , capital rationing & replacement policy.
2. Working capital management. Focus on debtors ( assessing credit worthiness and cash discount), Cash Mgmt ( miller-orr model & operating cycle) also likely.
3. Sources of finance. Focus on debentures( convertible debenture) valuation. Theory on methods of issuing share. Every Exam there is Question on Investment Ratios.
4. Flexible budget,Incremental Budget, ZBB and rolling Budget.Forecasting techniques : Regression Analysis.
5. Performance Measurement
6.There is a question on variances in each exam. So look out! *Mix & Yield Var*

i am 99.9% sure tht i will fail my 2.3 I mean as it is i was already quite Lost in 2.3..and plus the paper was tough dis time.. so Worse la for me.. not ony die, but already burried deeeeeeeeeeep 6 feet under ..haha and That 0.01% is if a miracle happens la Its okay..there's always Next sitting thats why acca gives us 10 years lorr haha.. *just consoling myself*

still got 2.4 to go!!! all those with 2.3 as ur last paper..must be dammmmmmm relieved huh? dun think about colleges now.. Go Holiday!!! U deserve it
