thinking to work in kpmg as trainee...dont know they accept or not...only completed part 2...legiwei..could u ask ur friend bout it ? thanks...

they accept trainee even if u havent finish part 2.. bcos trainee will only do the photostating and filing etc.. they dont let u do others.. bcos they dont wanna waste time teaching u.. u cant learn much when u r a trainee.. it'll only give u higher chance for them to hire u back as permanent staff

as i know, PWC,EY and KPMG also got such "training" thinghy.. it's called vacation training in PWC... internship in KPMG.. dunno what in EY =P

Just reread and suddenly found out that u just finish core.Post being edited biggrin.gif. My friend has yet to report work but according to her and her stories, she doesn't seem to please to work there. Ok, my friend has done a little research from her friends and it seems that EY has the best working environment. PWC has a lot of "politics" going on but it's like everybody's no.1 choice. But she is able to get in to KPMG cause her cousin was asked by the partner to recommend some names smile.gif. Anyway, why not try it out if you got the chance.

According to my lecturer, the first 6 months of your time will be spent on mastering on how to photostat. Even if you come in as a fresh grad, you will still be a junior and only be able to handle cheap stuff. So basically, I think everybody in a way start out as a trainee... but I'm not too sure about it. Anyway, it's not that everyone can enter the big 4.

Hmmm, a fresh grad entering the big 4 will usually get RM2100 according to my lecturer, current market rate, but some might be lower a little, probably around RM2000 too. Wah, how come everybody talk like the big 4 so easy to enter liddat laugh.gif

it's not easy to enter big 4.. but the opportunities are always there.. bcos they have very high staff turnover.. trainee like u and i both mentioned will do photostating.. juniors wont usually do photostating work.. bcos they get paid quite a lot.. they'll be doing the audit basic work.. if u r lucky, ur senior will teach u.. if u r unlucky and get teamed up with sucky ppl(there are many this kind of people bcos of the stress and work pressure).. then u will suffer and learn things from mistake and scolding LOL

all my lecturers said it's easy.. copy and paste.. bcos it's only either u pass or fail the thesis.. the class of the degree is not determined by the quality of ur thesis.. no matter how good is ur thesis.. the degree honours will be determined by part1 and part 2 average marks wink.gif

i'm trying to eye for 1st class.. ROFL but seems to be quite hard
