I am not too sure about CPA, but i think its of the same level, since both CPA and ACCA are accepted by the big 4 accounting firm and MIA.

Yes, u can get the MIA membership once u are a member of ACCA.
But the problem is, to become a member of ACCA, u need 3 years working experience under a member of the approved local accounting body, which means u have u work in an accounting firm or work under anyone who is a member of MIA or MICPA for 3 years, no shortcut.

Ur working experience while studying ACCA is still counted

one more thing, i know sunway has an affiliation with the Oxford Brookes University.

for students who are taking ACCA in sunway, after u have passed ur part 2, u can submit a report to OBU and u'll get a degree.

i am not sure if other colleges are offering this package, find out more from sunway.

compulsory to take LAN subject, need to take moral study and history.

also, if ur BM din get credit in SPM, u need to take additional BM paper.

i think the LAN subject was free for the first time u sit for it, dont think i paid for it. anyway, its internal one, just do a presentation and answer a few questions, nothing much.

i remember last i had to pass the LAN only then the college will release the CAT cert to u, because the CAT cert was issued by sunway, the ACCA certs are issued by UK.

theres nothing much about sunway, just the toilets are not that clean

just attend classes and do ur assigments and u'll pass

2.4 is easy, focus on finance part
3.1 just bulls**t
3.2 hardwork

maybe urs was included in ur CAT fees. Ours was not, because the LAN was after i have completed my CAT, before the issuance of the CAT cert, cos i took the LAN during my part 2, and NO, its not included in the part 2 fees at that time.

It seems that u r pretty proud of failing ur 2.4
bullsh*t is easy, i see u have good writing skills from LYN.

the hostel rental is quite reasonable, not sure how much , cos i din stay in the hostel

the prices of food is around RM5-6 per meal if u eat at stores around sunway college.
