Joel718 : Welcome to Sunway, may you not meet seniors like us or we'll bash you up for god knows what reason...ehehe... There's a Sunway/Monash thread at Kopitiam, so do stop by and say hi. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah CBE is more expensive. When it comes to paper base it will follow standard ACCA exam fees.

Wherever possible, your Supervisor should be a line manager or partner who is:

* a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant; or
* a member of an accountancy or auditing body recognised by law in your country of employment.

If your Supervisor is not a qualified accountant, there may be another individual within your organisation who holds a professional accountancy qualification. If this person has sufficient knowledge of your work, then they can review and verify your STR1 Records and STR2 Summary of Competences instead.

However, if there is no other qualified accountant within your organisation, ACCA will still accept STR forms that have been verified by an unqualified Supervisor.

Ideally, your Supervisor should be a suitably qualified accountant nominated by the firm to act as your Principal. A qualified manager may review and verify your STR forms. However, the STR1 Records and STR2 Summary of Competences must be countersigned by a Principal if your pre-membership work experience is to contribute towards a Practising Certificate (Audit) or (General Practice).

hello,

no need bother the PC (A) or PC (G) la...coz that one is applicable to UK der...

erm, based on what u describe about ur boss,if u ask me,i don't really feel he qualified to sign ur str lo coz he does not fulfil the requirement stated above.but u got see the sentence below :

However, if there is no other qualified accountant within your organisation, ACCA will still accept STR forms that have been verified by an unqualified Supervisor.

so maybe they will still consider ur str, erm,ur company has external auditor?if got, then maybe u can required the auditor to sign for u lo...since i am not getting my membership yet,so maybe i am not at a good position to advice u about this matter,i do suggest u email to acca and ask them to verify for u in order to avoid further problems arised...is that ok? icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah...they even say it's even illegal to post up your respective college lecture notes up here. But we can always share tips between ourselves.
