Yesterday, my son could not log on to Xbox live. He has a one year subsription. The message is something like "xbox live membership information is not valid". He has unmodded console and only playing original games. What could happened?

When I try to log in with the hotmail id, i found could not log in possibly due to the password changed. I dont' know who could have changed the password. Also could not recover the password as there is no alternate email account. Trying to use the secret question but the question is come out in Arabic characters?? (anyway I don't remember what is the secret question or answer.

What to do? Anybody please help me!

Sounds like someone else gained access to the account, and changed the secret question to something in arabic.

you can probably call microsoft support line and take a photo of the 1-year subscription card... probably can help

I managed to log in to hotmail using the original password (dont know why it didn't work the other time). The country was changed plus my son's name. The screen appeared with arabic language but I managed to figure out what was what by logging in to my other account on another browser.

I changed everything back, plus a new password and secret question.

Then go to Xbox and use the new password, then my son can connect to live.

I guess we were lucky this time.

Seems liek a server problem.
