What is plasmacluster and Why? Sharp Plasmacluster Ions Technology
Plasmacluster Ion technology is a registered technology by Sharp, which was developed in 2000. It is the genuine and the only air purification system that releases positive and negative ions into the air to remove harmful airborne substances. As Its a registered technology, other air conditioner manufacturers only can 'copy' it and produce so-called Ionizer which only releases negative ions. Plasmacluster Ions can suppress the activity of a total of 26 kinds of bacteria, mold fungi, viruses and allergens floating in the air.

Sharp’s Plasmacluster Ion technology is effective because it creates a positive and negative Ion shower (PCI), which recreates the natural process that purifies the air in the earth’s atmosphere.
