buy club initially started for tech related items...so kinda need some clear guidelines here man.

if it was phones it would be in the mobile phone section.
if it was cameras, there's a buy club in camera section too.

so yeah, discussion all PC hardware related so buy club also PC hardware related.

i hate quoting you admin, but we wanted to create an individual buy club for each category or section, but it has been refused by the moderators of each section, hopefully you could get them to endorse it, so we can actually put them in those category

the header, buy club v7, is pretty generic and warns nothing for only about putting only hardware related stuffs.

perhaps you could create a category itself for show off and buy club section, then that would make so much more sense

there have been people pm'ing sleepwalker about putting a buy club thread in the fast and furiou but he has opposed to it

i hope you can rectify this internal hoo-hah because there was no clear guidelines to begin with.

lacus, if there was a warning, it should be pinned, not everyone frequents hardware daily and specifically. i know you are doing your job, i am merely suggesting stuffs to make your administration run smoother. i have been in the moderation team in lyn before, i should know better.

I personally agree to have a buy club in F&F section as what Kev suggested.

This is for ppl to show-off their newly installed rims, tyres, modded parts, accessories etc.

im suggesting to create a sub-category for buy club, it should have its own category, since its a merely showing off place. nothing contructive, but does help let users know where to buy certain items where its cheaper or perhaps non acquirable in malaysia. this would certainly help out a lot.

how about we make it a bit more lenient, as long as the device require a CPU to power up its core features, aka electronic gadgets, includes PC, consoles, digicam, then it should be allowed.

home AV equipments, since the respective section already got similar picture sharing thread (iinm), it should be allowed here but within limits..

automotive parts should stay out however

in order to minimize the potential questions flooding this thread, the picture poster should include comprehensive info in the same post, as well as brief comments and feelings after he/she bought the stuff. The response posted to a particular post should be dealt by case-by-case basis, comments and queries is fine but don't let them overwhelm the pictured posts.
