got a question about flashing the X1 rom... i just did the Hard SPL, and it seems to be correct because i see the 0.72.01iNex in the tricolor boot screen....

then i try to flash by place the "ruu_signed.nbh" from the file x1_firestorm_v4.7.23089LEO.7z in my memory card root folder and rename it to "Kovsimg.nbh"....

i then shut down the phone, remove teh battery and re-insert it....

then press and hold the volume down and power button together.... then it brings be back to the tricolor boot screen instead of updating the rom....

can someone help me understand what I did wrong? Did i miss a step or something?

wad i tried was then put the kovsimg.nbh file in the same folder as CustomRUU.exe, and update teh rom...

however, when it's done, it restarts by itself... so i'm not sure how am I going to do a hard reset on the phone...?

i tried x1_firestorm_v4.8.23089LEO.. so far no major issues yet (even without hard reset)... however i just switch on the HTC interface, the Tf3D menu thingie..?

does the rom come with it?

thanks chinseng, can i format the card from teh phone? or is there other way i can do it?
