i've been on 3.4.47FS for 2 days now. found that it's more responsive and faster than my previous 3.1.16FS
these are the only bugs that i've found out:

1. video call sends garbled image to the receiving end.

the same after applying the videocall fix final.cab
receiving video from other device works perfectly though.

2. media experience panel shows broken image. scrolling shows the image, but when it zooms, it shows a broken image icon.


3. media experience panel video has this icon when playing video.


other than that, everything are working fine. a keeper i would say (because of the performance alone)

i'm trying to download it, but can't seem to get a full download.

you guys on the newer 3.5.49 Firestorm,
any problems playing music from the TF3D music tab?

mine all the mp3s from the sd card can't be played. it doesn't show in the tab.
anyone experiencing the same problem?

tried and seems like my phone don't like the new 3.5.49FS. back to 3.4.47 for me then.

i have to agree, the newer Touch IT is by far the fastest ROM that i've used. probably because of the newer drivers.

though there's bugs here and there. some important programs are missing. too much settings to be changed to fulfil my requirement. and i'm having problem with the music tab.
so i'm back with 3.1.16FS. not as fast, but everything works. i'm having quite a major problem with the music tab in all the new WM builds

the price difference isn't that far off. better to get 16gb (or 32gb) while you're at it. last i check, there's a lot of 16gb class 4 selling well under Rm150. but nothing better than class 2 32gb.

8gb is just not enough for me.

she already has a 4gb card in her nokia (the one that came originally with my x1). now wants my 8gb.

i've upgraded from class 4 to class 6. and i tell you the difference is not noticeable. better get higher capacity than higher speed. lets see if i can find some cheap 32gb off the net.

no weather autoupdate problem?

never faced the freeze with blank screen after overnight charging with the 3.1.16FS

but whatever ROM that i flashed, i always get the 2-3 second hang after resuming from suspend. damn annoying if you're in a hurry.
felt wanna throw the phone to the floor and stump on it. seriusly!

better to copy it and store it in your hdd.

anybody else using Jack's 3.11 Medium?
i'm getting manila sms sorting problem after a softreset. could you guys check whether your sms tab in tf3d re-sort your sms to the top after a softreset?

i'm focusing on the Manila 2.1 used in Jack's 3.11
i've used other ROMs before this, none had this problem also. this is the first time i have this issue.

anyone on jack's 3.11 medium?

any else on jack's 3.11. do you have the same problem as me?

tried enough custom and yet it still feels the same?
tried all the different variant from valkyrie, touch it, touch x, energy, etc etc etc only to find that it still lags?

then i guess it's time to leave all the other ROM (that people are saying fast) and settle with Jack's 3.11 Medium.
BY FAR the fastest ROM to date. but you won't get the eye candy because it runs WM6.1. and you won't get kinetic scrolling. but it's a hell lot faster than any other custom ROM.

even then i still feels that it has some lag, which made me change the filesystem cache to 8MB, filter cache to 65536 and glyph cache to 64KB. now it has barely unnoticeable lag.
it has some bug, 2 that i've found so far. but i could live with it. and yes i use TF3D and FingerKeyboard and a whole loads of other stuffs.

i doubt it's gonna be faster than jack's 3.11 medium. well i've downloaded it anyway just in case the ROM gets replaced with a newer one.
and i've been using smaberg's Touch X 10.1 for a few month before this. no way that ROM is faster than jack's 3.11. that ROM is in fact slower than some valkyrie based WM6.5. used both the green and blue version.

but hey, opinion varies..

the 1.17 radio made me lose my satellite lock while i'm driving (and depending on it to guide me). and can't get another lock even though waited 10 minutes for it under the clear sky. even a soft reset won't work.
so i had to reflash back the 1.16 radio in the car beside the road. thank god i had my laptop with me.

after soft reset, the 1.16 radio gets a lock in 5 seconds. so no more 1.17 radio for me. been using the 1.17 since it's released a week or two ago. only encountered the problem yesterday.

it also didn't bother me, until yesterday.
i've been using the gps just fine with the 1.17 radio before this. travelled a few time guided by the 1.17 radio until it went haywire yesterday.
no doubt the 1.17 has better reception and more stable reception compared to 1.16 (too sensitive/fluctuation) but guess i won't be using it anymore.
