@xcen
I went into the silent UC folder, clicked on the autorun.mscr and viola everything runs by itself. But it won't run automatically, no idea why. Doesn't matter anyway, save me all the trouble of clicking one by one.
When I was back in msia for my holidays, on valkyrie rom can't remember exactly which version, my maxis 3G connection will disconnect itself when not being used. But now when I'm back overseas, I subscribed to data plan, and it doesn't disconnect by itself.

Yeah, I don't know what's all abt the fuss she is making keep wanting ori rom.. And I think I've mentioned before that there is a pure 6.5 + R3A rom on xda. Perhaps that would suit her.
And I agree with rkwan, don't think there will ever be a 6.5 upgrade for X1 users.

You do not need to backup stock rom. THere are plenty available online for download. Search harder.

Give 3.8.20 LEO a try, it's as stable as 3.1.16 if not more. I've been on it for almost a week d. very happy with the battery life and performance.

Difference is :
RT has manila ported from rhodium/topaz phone. ( diamond 2/ touch pro 2 ) LEO has manila ported from the new HTC Leo Xperio doesn't has manila.
If you would take a little time to read the thread in xda, you would be able to find it.

@chongkiatz Download the WVGA version. I read this from pocketnow tweet, looks like SE won't be offering any official WM 6.5 update for the X1. http://xperiancers.com/2009/09/10/x1-upgra...in-the-roadmap/There is another thread in xda about this. So miss yeelin, mind clarifying which version of wm 6.5 is your handphone shop guy is upgrading for you? This post has been edited by kenlui: Oct 9 2009, 04:29 AM

I'm using crossroad x3 IEM with my X1.. tried comparing it tomy fren's ipod touch, x1 still loses a little bit, but I don't mind sacrificing a little to get a all in 1 device.

Agent will be launching new leo rom tmrw.. keeping my fingers crossed..
Anyone here who can answer calls on their phone directly without plugging out your IEM/earbuds when listening to songs? I find it really irritating when I've to plug out to answer a call and the plug in back again.

I was wondering since there is no mic on my crossroad that's why I plugged it out. I should try answering directly the next time then.

Thanks for the tips. Now I don't have to plug out my buds everytime when there is a call coming in.
@02286
I've no problem reading simplified chinese on nitrogen, using ce star.
I'm still waiting for agent's newest launch of LEO.. wondering whether he'll be launching it tonight.

I just flashed to Firestorm 4.1.64 LEO, looks pretty ok & stable to me, it's using the new contact app that I like. Bugs are present, google maps can't be opened, but doesn't really matter to me as I don't use it at all.
Besides that the phone will try to establish internet connection automatically, especially after a soft reset, kinda irritating. I'm sure I don't have any programmes that need internet connection. I'm using nodata for now.

I've no problems restoring my contacts with pimbackup.
@rkwan
The google maps bug can be resolved by downloading the google map app and installing it. Just done it. Everything is good now other than the auto connection bug.

I haven't use TR for quite a while. Sorry can't help. Prefer Leo over TR especially the shortcuts just at home screen. =P
And footprints can't be backup using PIMbackup.
U can only backup contacts, calendar schedules, messages by using PIM.

Yes, it'll auto connect all the time, can be solved by using nodata or pressing cancel while it connects.
@02286
Agent has ady got the new version of manila 2.5, I htink he'll be posting it up soon. That's what he mentioned.
