but its a statement from Sony Ericsson itself

“According to Sony Ericsson it concerns only small amount of phones. “We only received a relatively small amount.” The manufacturer acknowledges this problem but they will investigate every individual case like a unique case. “When a housing is completely wrecked it is obvious that the owner did something weird. When there are only a few cracks and nothing further then there is a big change that this is covered by warranty.” When the cracks aren’t very significant, the housing will be replaced. In extreme situations the phone will be replaced” Sony Ericsson NL comment (translated)

eventually not my phone..
but those cracks confirm can be claimed..

i emailed to the sony ericsson customer service..

i am waiting for their reply with that "statement" they wrote..

argh.. i got the 2nd picture crack on my phone. but i got no time to claim as well. summore i nid to use Touch pro if i claim warranty for my set. touch pro isnt good in remote desktop, so i still wondering for so long now..

if im not remember wrongly, mine is 08W52 wan.

Hi all,i m new here.cos i just grab a 2nd UK set X1 last month.
and,bad news is,after i install CE- Star,and now problem occur.
when i start my X1, it will pop out "wxesetup is not trusted or some component is missing.pls reinstall....."
and believe this cause my sms screen become blank and cant type sms anymore.
so far i did not notice any others problem caused by the wxesetup.
anyone can help?
do i really need to flash it??
can i just copy the file from others phone running the same ROM (WM6.1)??

hi, i encounter this problem on wm6.1 b4.

there is actually a fix for it. but i tried to find it bak.. i cant seem to get bak the link already.

anyway, i dun think it is a wise choice to use CE-star as it is pc-dependent to install it. it would better for u to use sunglobe.cab and rhodium A4 input. we discuss about it b4 and i find it really useful.

if u only wan to view chinese but not to type. then sunglobe.cab is much more better choice than ce-star for sure.

Besides guys, those who using mapking 2007. i found a mapking cab file.

once u install mapking from pc. u will hav a cab files stored in c:\windows\windows mobile\mapasia (if im not remember wrongly). once u got the cab file, it is much easier to install mapking then.

oh yah..1 more thing..

yest i did ask about them helping me to UPGRADE software..

they said can RM 25 but need to wait 2 hours..

its using R3WA / RW3A not so sure..its dunnoo wat thingy but got W.M 6.5 i think..

i perfer to read and write chinese...that's y i install Ce-Star...who know's it only can type but not read.
and then i install A4...stil the same..can type cant read....
and end up like now...totally cant read sms even it is english.

will it caused any others problem other than the sms blank screen?

yup. i agree with u. since they show a photo of it. they think is their manufacturer defects, they will probably change the housing for u since they knew it is their fault. someone will going to find them one day about all these craps.

i doubt i could la. u better flash the rom. u can definitely get the same answer here. Original R1AA to R3AA is all totally craps. i think every x1 owner will think the same.

since urs is UK set, juz flash 3rd party rom. you will be more enjoy when using x1 than current. for those upgrade from stock rom to 3rd party rom. best to stick with lite rom, like Oobly's rom. fast and stable.

cant find a reliable software shop to do it? i think our x1 member here do it much better than phone shop do. they juz simply flash any rom they THINK is good.
