No, no, no. What I mean is do a hard-reset AFTER re-flashing the phone.

After re-flashing, don't change any settings or install any program, just hard-reset right after the whole re-flashing is done & you're at the home screen.

PS: I said earlier connecting to WiFi is faster than 28008 TR, but somehow disconnecting is kinda slower, a lot slower than 28008 TR.

Time to make some screenshot GIF.

i dun think it makes any difference. after tested so many times i flash my phone. whether hard-reset o not, it juz the same. could try it mayb when i got problem. else, nothing diff for me though.

i on 28014, but not sure why very sluggish here. probably is those program i installed. hard-reset 3 times now. do hard-reset after i flashed the rom. same still. will give a little bit more try, or will try the 21887 instead.

n sms oso stuck at outbox, wont send out on digi3g. even sms couldnt receive.

There's a bug with Mapking 2007.
The program runs fine, but when you press the button Tools on the lower part of the screen, the menu is very big, it covers the whole screen. sweat.gif

I don't think this is a problem with 28014 Leo, though it runs fine with 28008 TR, Mapking 2007 is a very old & outdated GPS program.
I use both Garmin Mobile XT & Mapking 2007.
Both have it's own weakness & each of them has something that I need.

@rkwan

Since you're using itje's rom for now, can you do a comparison btw his and agent's new 28014? But I think at the end of the day I'll still reflash to agent's rom, kinda get used to it ady haha!

I'm downloading both 28017 and 21887, as agent mention that 21887 is significantly faster compared to 28014 and I kinda miss the start on top thingy..

All in all, 28008 TR is much more stable than 28014 Leo.

That's my opinion though, not sure about you guys. biggrin.gif

haha, mayb is not a bug mah.. they integrate HTC menu in all program dy. so Mapking menu oso bigger..

btw, i agree with u that mapking n garmin got their own strength. which i personally prefer mapking. but the program too old and is not optimised for 800x480. so all icon is very pixeled and ugly. esepecially nid to install via pc. that is too much hassle in the end for me as my contact is all sync via internet but not pc. so everytime i flash is not using pc at all.

but mapking got those features that garmin interface could never able to provide.

haha, i flashed to itje, valkyrie 28014, valkyrie 21887. 3 rom i used today. 21887 is best. fast n smooth. itje better than 28014. 28014 is really sluggish n slow. itje is slow, but is not sluggish. wont hung halfway running application.

28008 is kinda old ady, and I'm used to the shortcuts on leo homescreen, so if possible I won't go back to TR roms. I'm also downloading all the 3 roms mentioned by rkwan, will start with 21887 then since it's the fastest, the 28011 that i'm using now is kinda getting laggy, no idea why.

Offcourse 21887 is faster, it's Windows Mobile 6.5
While 28008 and above is Windows Mobile 6.5.3.

28011 is the windows mobile 6.5 build code. 28014 is the newest for WM 6.5.3 while 21887 is the latest for WM 6.5

@tompok82

Thanks for your explanation, but I think I've been here long enough to know what's the difference. It's not that significant after all, be it 6.5 or 6.5.3

Speed is an issue for me.

Downloading 21887 Leo now, will re-flash my Xperia to it once the download is complete.
Hopefully, 21887 Leo will beat both the 21887 Leo & 28008 TR.

Finished flashing my Xperia to 21887 Leo.
Indeed the 21887 Leo is much much faster than any other ROM's I've tried before.

Though I've yet to see any bugs, will continue testing the new 21887 Leo ROM. biggrin.gif

21887 Leo is faster than any other ROM's in every aspect. thumbup.gif

1st bug found:
Power off not working. Again. Duh! doh.gif

Anyway, thanks a lot for the list of full screen games! Will give it a try soon!

Oh and BTW... do you guys feel kinda sad for rota? After all his hardwork on landscape, he got smacked in the face by HTC while he haven't even released his stable ROM yet. doh.gif

2nd Bug:
Mapking menu problem.

3rd Bug:
WiFi takes toooooooo long to disconnect.

That's all for now, will report back after more thorough testing. biggrin.gif
