the official garmin installer could be found on www.garmin.com

who said cannot share it out. once the official website got the installer, that mean it is legal to share. but then the "afta" part figured it urself which lowyat is strictly prohibited.

go find on garmin website to get the garmin installer.

for map, i would recommend malfreemaps rather than malsingsmap. malfreemaps is free and great contribution of malaysian rather than non-malaysian. malsingsmap map is now partly updated by garmin themselves. and malfreemaps is so much less hassle than malsingsmap in installation process. n besides, malfreemaps updated once a week. surely will have the most updated map for malaysia.

n guys, for those tat needed chinese input and singlehand alphanumeric keypad.. i suggest ZTA4, trying it now, not bad, it can type in chinese and english in alphanumeric keypad, T9 included too.. and it can b install in .cab file, easier after a flash...and its freeware too..

eh, about the activeSnyc, when u 1st time connect, it require some setting and there is a checkbox tat ask u whether allow internet access or sumthing like tat 1 de~

1st of all, did u install activesync for winXP or WDMC for winVista and above?
if u did, pls go to Settings > connections > USB to PC > and make sure u chose the Activesync option.
