Does anybody know the price of replacing the whole casing of this phone? The whole casing includes keyboards, back battery cover, buttons etc.

QUOTE(xcen @ Oct 17 2009, 02:14 PM) Does anybody know the price of replacing the whole casing of this phone? The whole casing includes keyboards, back battery cover, buttons etc. I've been asking around (was kindly asked to check ebay international) for the casing as well. There's a member who quoted me about RM500 for an original casing. I don't think it includes the keyboard though. It's quite cost prohibitive to get an original casing here. I was thinking of getting a compatible casing from ebay uk.Anyone has any other idea? There's a member selling an "ap housing" as well. Says it's class A blah blah blah. It's still about RM 140 though. A more reasonable price than RM500. I could possibly source it for cheaper than that though. Just not too sure about the quality. Any thoughts? |

Hi! Have a decision to make regarding buying an AP SE X1 hence would like to refer to all the sifus here. Have posted this on the main forum but was asked to move it elsewhere. I guess is this is the place. If I m wrong... my apologies.
I cant afford the original and am considering the AP set, my questions are: 1) Is the set essentially the same between AP and Ori? 2) Would there be any additional problems for the AP set as opposed to Ori? 3) I heard of warranty claim issues with AP sets, how true is this? 3) Are there preferred AP distributors that are "trustable"? 4) Are there any dealers in LYN that are recommended? FYI - The AP set is going for about RM1400 while the Ori is RM 1800. Appreciate your replies if any. Many thanks |

and i just realised my signature is very 'opera mobile unfriendly, you'll know what i mean if you use opera mobile to browse it haha. i will change it shortly. |

I just installed Scrub from Marketplace. Cool app, managed to update many many of my contacts Categories and Emails.
Added on October 18, 2009, 12:29 amHey, if any of you knows Chinese or wants to learn Chinese, then you should try Pleco man, so fat it's the best Chinese dictionary I've seen. Really good translation, handwriting recognition, pinyin, zhuyin. Name it, they got it. The only only is that it's not really finger friendly but it's acceptable because most of the time when I use it I will be using the stylus to write words on it. If you're using Custom Rom, did you Hard SPL first? try already but still the same, it is original rom never mod b4, need help still blank screen.Try taking out the battery and put it back in and try again. If that doesn't work, try to hard reset and pray that it works. Added on October 17, 2009, 2:22 am Have you installed ActiveX Deploment? |

QUOTE(andychan @ Oct 18 2009, 01:32 AM) Original ROM as in R1A? I don't think that can support the new panel interface... Drivers issue I think. You need to get a R3A based if I'm not mistaken.Added on October 18, 2009, 7:30 am QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Oct 18 2009, 12:49 AM) Scrub is free, Pleco unfortunately is not. There's a trial version for it though. This post has been edited by xcen: Oct 18 2009, 07:30 AM |
